Cat care with FIP

Once clinical signs are present, cats with the wet form of FIP usually live for several days to several weeks. Some adults can live for six to eight months. Dry form cats typically die within a few weeks, but some may last for a year or more. Proper care, a balanced, high-quality diet are ingredients that ensure that the cat has the best possible in the final stages of the disease. The vet can prescribe medication to relieve the discomfort.
