Temporary contraception is easy to apply with a pill in tablet form or a periodic injection. Unfortunately, the possible side effects (DPS, weight gain, diabetes, milk gland tumors) are severe enough to minimize the use. For this reason, it is also advisable to choose the pill in tablet form as a temporary bridging pill. When signs of DPS (Dolly Parton Syndrome) appear, the administration of the tablets can be stopped immediately, as opposed to an administered injection, which can no longer be “stopped.” The chemical castration of hangovers is also strongly advised against because of the high risk of DPS.
