This form of aggression usually occurs when one of the cats reaches adulthood (between 8 months and 3 years). It can be prevented by leaving kittens as long as possible with the mother and littermates and a timely castration. Also, for this behavioral problem, medication is available in extreme cases, this in combination with behavioral therapy.
